Take a Quick Tour

With spacious floor plans, state-of-the-art amenities, and a vibrant neighborhood, you’ll love calling this place home.

Living in Fishtown and East Kensington

The Mill at York Station sits on York Street, where Fishtown meets East Kensington, one block from SEPTA’s York-Dauphin station. That puts two of Philadelphia’s liveliest River Wards neighborhoods on your doorstep, with a quick ride into Center City whenever you need it.

A neighborhood with deep roots

Fishtown takes its name from the fishing trade that built it: early residents held fishing rights along the Delaware River, and the name was in use by at least 1808. Today its brick rowhomes and former industrial buildings sit alongside restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops, especially along Frankford Avenue and Girard Avenue, the neighborhood’s main commercial corridors.

Getting around

  • The El: York-Dauphin station on the Market-Frankford Line is one block from The Mill, for a direct ride into Center City.
  • Trolley and bus: SEPTA’s Route 15 trolley runs along Girard Avenue, and bus routes cross the neighborhood.
  • On foot and by bike: Fishtown’s flat streets and bike lanes make it easy to run errands without a car, and the Delaware River waterfront is close by.

Parks and places to go

Penn Treaty Park sits on the Delaware River waterfront, and the historic Palmer Cemetery, founded around 1732, is one of the neighborhood’s landmarks. For a night out, Frankford Avenue and the surrounding blocks are known for live music venues, bars, restaurants and independent shops, all a short walk or ride from home.

Studio living at The Mill

In a neighborhood where so much happens outside your front door, a studio can be all the space you need. The Mill at York Station’s studios run from about 470 to 600 square feet, with modern finishes, in-unit washer and dryer and central heating and cooling. When you want more room, the fitness room, resident lounge, courtyard and rooftop deck with city views are part of the building. Look for a smart layout, good natural light and storage when you tour, and compare our studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans in the pricing table above.
